This still unfinished series proposes a rereading of famous quotes through photography. Dixit No. 2 (Vein-cutter) starts from an image of the Ecuadorian Amazon and transports us to Ancient Greece. Dixit No. 4 (Death) links an old Chinese superstition about number four with the omnipresence of the QR code and the vocation to decipher the world. Dixit No. 7 (The Miracle) sacralizes the temperature of espresso.

These three works were exhibited in two group shows in Quito during 2012: "First Hall of Justice", organized by La Pelota Cuadrada (Square Ball) art collective at the Naranjilla Mecánica; and “ECUA-UIO / 01 Festival of Contemporary Visual Art”, organized by Kespues art collective and Catalizador magazine at the Itchimbía Cultural Center.
